吃过晚饭回来，脑子里一直萦绕着un-break my heart的调调。洗澡之前，翻出Toni Blaxton的旧CD放上，嗯，历久弥新，R&B曲风清爽又不失节奏感，忍不住all repeat了几遍，听了一整晚。

记得她最红的时候，也是billboard的常客，CHANNEL V整天打她的歌，那时长得很漂亮，黑人中算少见的，身材小巧，比例却堪称完美，有“黑珍珠”之称，她的MTV中男主角多是黑人名模非常养眼。令人惊讶的是她声音如此浑厚有力，唱起R&B深情舒畅，很容易便使人陶醉在她的歌声中。

当时很喜欢她的how could an angel break my heart，曲调优美，歌词精湛，加上kenny G的轻柔saxphone，简直令人心醉也心碎。

上大学时，好友也对toni非常欣赏，性格开朗的她更喜欢其中的you make me high，因为歌词火辣，每次模仿toni唱这首歌时都像要勾引谁似的，要是让她看见原版MTV中，toni穿纯白紧身衣大跳辣舞时，难保她会上演令人喷鼻血的“超级模仿秀”～～

近年来toni有点淡出歌坛，除了对几年前专辑中那首he's not a man enough的卡通造型还有些印象外，像去年德国世界杯合唱的the time of our life也没有引起太大的效应。

真希望她能重拾人气，唱多些好歌。
